More about Jonny and Ann-Christine

We met in Lund in the autumn 1995 and one year later we moved together in the northern district of Lund. In the end of November 2015 did we move to a new apartment, where we live now, only 200 meters from the main square in the centre of Lund.

We have done a lot of fun things together since we met, like at this picture from the summer 2005 when we were for summer holiday in Antalya in Turkey.

We were engaged at Christmas Eve 1997 when we celebrated Christmas at Ann-Christine's parents and married in Hagby church at May 15, 1999.

Jonny

Jonny is working as a Java developer at IBM in Malmö. That means that he works in projects to help other companies and authorities with their development of the software they need. The most of the work is about programming what have been agreed upon. Despite that Jonny is employed at IBM in Malmö he is almost never in Malmö. Mostly does he work at home or at a company he works for.

Jonny has however considered to stop working with Java development or stop working at all as Java developers has so low status at IBM and as there are no career opportunities for him. He have been on leave of absence during both the autumn 2014 and the autumn 2015 to do something else but he does still not what to work with instead if he leave his employment.

Computers and computer technology is one of Jonny's mainly interests, of course, and he often works with our web site as a kind of web master. But he is also interested in private economy, private investments (but only shares, not funds) and economics in general. He have also become very interested in genealogy as he wants to document as much as possible about our relatives here at our (Swedish) web site to make it available for the others of our relatives. And he have become very interested in the local history of our home town Lund which he also have written about on pages here at our (Swedish) web site.

Jonny also has his own web site that is directed to people that are interested in his work as a Java developer.

Ann-Christine

Ann-Christine is a reg. child nurse, with a PhD in Quality Management. Her research focus on quality improvement in health and welfare organizations. Since January 2014 she is holding a full time position as University Lecturer in Quality Improvement and Leadership of Health and Welfare at the Jönköping Academy for Improvement of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University.

Ann-Christine is interested in singing. She likes to read and sometimes she is making her own clothes. Cooking and baking are other interest and she likes to try new recipes.
